Couple of weeks ago I got a jar of pineapple/Devils Tongue (hot pepper) jelly from a Dutch Brethren named Big Willie.
Marinated the wings in Scott's (got it from Brethren GTR) for a day.
Rubbed with a homemade rub from Phrasty.
Smoked with hickory.
Sauteed some garlic and scallion,added the lePhtover marinade from the chicken.
Added some water,mixed it all with a stickblender and reduced the sauce a bit.
Jelly was added,some salt,dried thyme and butter...glazed the chicken with it and when Phinished poored the rest of the sauce over the chicken.
