Happy Xmas Eve!! Did a couple butts yesterday along with slaw and deviled eggs. Today I'm frying a turkey and will post on that later.

Hot and fast on the butts. These too about 6.5hrs.

This is when they hit 155ish and foiled. No pulled picks on them.

I started adding blue cheese to my slaw after recently seeing another brethren put up a post with that idea. My new favorite recipe, which consists of my recipe that I make most of the time but then adding blue cheese.

The deviled eggs were spinach and bacon. I normally have bacon in them, but saw a recipe with the spinach and damn these were good. I also put sriracha in them for spice. Love that stuff.

Butts look great! I'd love to hit those eggs! You have given me an inspiration, why in the fark did I not think of bacon?

That all looks great!

I'd love to see the recipe for the deviled eggs if you're willing to share it.

Here you go. *This is approximately what I remember using. *What I love about deviled eggs is you really can shoot from the hip on ingredients and they always turn out good.

15 hard-cooked eggs

Take out the yolks and mix with......
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons mustard (I used spicy mustard but any will of course work)
1 or 2 good squirts of sriracha
Salt and pepper to taste
1 package of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
Bacon - I used what was left in the package and I think it was about 3/4 full

Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) package shredded coleslaw mix
