@SirPorkaLot, your new bbq area is looking great! I'm not trying to hijack your thread - ok, well maybe partially - LOL. Where did you find the anchors for your center posts? I built a "floating deck" - not attached to the wall, (no need for a permit) and now I want to build a cover for it. I've been using a cheap temporary canopy for the past several years but it takes up a lot of real estate. Deck is small because I have a super small lot - 1/10th of an acre. My plan is to remove a couple of the boards close to the house and sink 3 posts in the back and three in the grass in the front.
