Okay, here is the thought. These cabinets are amazing and stainless steel. The insulation is good to atleast 350 degrees IN MY EXPERIENCE ONLY.
Cannot build one right now, so I will pass this on in hopes that another brethren can.

You could leave the one side as a warmer and have a real trick pony. Or you could add a smoke pistol and use the cabinet for the heat source.
PLEASE NOTE: I have not seen this cabinet, some of the CH cabinets are made out of aluminium. Vet this cabinet personally before purchasing. Just trying to share an idea for an awesome smoker.
