I really played with my PBC the weekend.

I did one of the Prime CAB brisket that we've been scoring here in SoCal from Costco. I also felt like doing a butt so I hung that in as well with the brisket.:biggrin1: Don't have too many pics as I had company over but managed to capture a few on the cell. Overall everything turned out really well.

A shot of the brisket to give you an idea of the marbleization

I've been dying to try some pizza on my PBC! Looks like it rocked the pie and the crust! I'd hit all of that! Thanks for sharing!

Nice feast!

I hung a little 3lb pork shoulder on my PBC today and it turned out perfect and so easy. Love it.

Pit barrel cooker

PBC pretty amazing piece of culinary machinery. Good job

Ssv3 excellent cook.

Also did a pulled pork this weekend on the Pbc and it was great. Definitely gotta try pizza and need to stop by costco for that prime brisket.

Wow. Good cookin! That marble on the brisky looks great. Mines going on this week. Can't wait.

Cause when I do that one, I can take the other one out of the freezer and do it all over again!

Thanks Bob. The pies came out way better than I expected them to be. Def more pizza in the future for the PBC.

Sweet!!!

How do you hang the brisket? Just one hook?

I used two hooks that went in the meat and interlocked them together. Exactly how Noah(pbc co. owner) demonstrates on his youtube videos. I cooked both butt and brisket by leaving it hanging all the way through the cook as opposed to placing it on the grate about midway of the cook. I wrapped it at one point but hung it right back. When the butt hit 200 and probed tender, it almost fell but I grabbed it.

For sure. My pork butt turned out unbelievably moist and good as well. Too bad couldnt snap a pic. Next time for sure.
