Much has been written and posted here anzad elsewhere about grilling pies. We have found much success, entertained friends and familly and instituted "pizza night" at home. I use a 13" pampered chef stone, charcoal and oak from splits I get from a tree triming yard. I get very high temperatures, perhaps as high as 700° F without converting my kettle into a pizza forge.

Looks great! What are the metal doohickeys at each end of the stone?

Nice. I keep saying I'm going to take my pizza stone out to the grill and make some pizza that way, but I never think about it when I'm actually making pizza. Thanks for the reminder.

^^^ I was thinking the same thing! Looks fantastic! :thumb:

Nice mod to make the stone work on the kettle really cool I like tht looks like some fine pizza

looks great and i hope we do find out about that rig. i just use bricks and a pizza pan with holes in it that does a darn good job.

I haven't done pizza on my Weber in a while. It's about time I do that soon. That looks great.

Looks great. For what it's worth, Josh Cary of All Things BBQ tells me that the Weber pizza grill dome thingie works great too.
