congrats to iQue and ISS!!! Well deserved, fer sure.
Psyched to see iQue going back to the Jack !!
Another great weekend cooking, and if we'd a' had any more fun, we prolly wouldn't have made it out alive.
This event was fun, well run, and would remind us of the way a country festival should be. What a great venue, there's plenty of room for everyone! The only teeny issue was that they could have had more porta-potties. But, I'd bet that will be remedied for next year, though.
Kudos to Laurel Pollard and all the folks at the Raitt Farm... they did a fine job and put in a LOT of work!
Reps Kathie Dakai and Leslie Lovely were super, as usual.
Martin and I ate so many lobster bodies ... we LOVE the fact that most people don't want to take the time to pick 'em.
HUGE THANKS to the Emperor of BBQ (Andy King) for coordinating and cooking the bugs AND the steamers BOTH DAYS, it was wonderful!
It was great to see everyone from afar... Scottie and all his girls, the Ribs Within crew and their boys, who I think are still on the Raitt farm, as we speak. Coupla times I went by Black Cat to say hi, but everyone was in the RV... I would be too if I had that rig. Its awesome!
Finally introduced myself to Paul Kirk, after years of being too 'starstruck' to go up to him... a nice guy and I think he had a good time up heah.
I'm giving the MGC a big thumbs up, and recommend it for next year fer sure!! In my mind there is nothing better than Southern Maine in August!
