Texas BBQ Brethren Bash Spring 2018 Planning

Things are looking good on this end for March 24th. Looking forward to it. Will get LuzziAnn to making some goodies (she can't make this one) and does anyone like boudin? :-D
Bring the boudin. We'll eat it!
Glad to hear you're gonna make it again.

Alright, Brethren, just because I have not slept in 2 days and too lazy to read the whole thread, am I right that this is happening Saturday, 24 March at Ray Roberts? Will anyone be there on Friday, or is out Saturday only? I've gotta "work" on Sunday, but might try to make it this year.

Dan, hope you can join us! I've camped there in the past but lately have been driving there Saturday. Right now my "normal" work schedule is Sunday thru Tuesday (12 hour nights) so will be available Friday is anybody is gonna be there then.

I've got the Cabo but we may break into it the night before verses the way you Texas folks take a shot compared the the SoCal folks. :tsk:

Mike, remember that we both had designated drivers in California.

A few years ago we camped next to peeps and family and his FIL, Jeff, poured us nightcaps that lowered the level of the bottle (thinking it was Garrison's whiskey) pretty quickly.

Probably a good time to start thinking about what to cook and or what to bring to the Bash!

Shelly and I just cooked a Spicy Corn Casserole on the Shirley last Sunday.
A bit warm but WOW was is great!
I think we will add this to our cooks for the 2018 Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash.

Damn, I'm out again. Work picked that weekend for a cutover.

One of these days I'll make it out...

At our 3rd one (I think) a fellar with screen name Coach(something) brought a cold corn dip for Fritos chips that was BadAzz- he hasn’t been to any more Bashes or been on here much since. I didn’t get the recipe - Wish I had......
