Another tagine dish with lamb Kefta (meatballs) with tomotoes, onion, cumin, and sharp Hungarian paprika. Served on garlic toast with a poached egg. Wow!!!! It was so farking good. Cooked for 2 hours at 250 in the covered "tagine". Lamb meatballs were browned in olive oil first.

Meatballs
1 T Panko bread crumbs
1 t cumin
1 t Hungarian paprika
Salt & Pepper to taste

That looks and sounds great! Do you have a recipe for the sauce, too?

2 cans diced tomatoes
medium onion, diced and sauted
1 t cumin
1 t Hungarian paprika
salt & pepper

I added some mexican oregano for garnish when plated.

The Hungarian paprika is a spicy paprika.

I wish you would not use them big words that I can't pronounce.
Laymen terms.
spaghetti suace over cheesy bread
By the way I'd hit that any day!!!!

Todd, that meal looks great. Thanks for the recipe.

nicely done, sir. where did that recipe come from? never woulda thought of the poached egg on that. what's in the lamb balls? tangine in the egg, i presume?

That looks fantastic. I may have to use that soon. Got a mixed cook with about 30% Indian population....

The idea for the recipe came from here.

We make a little different variation by poaching the eggs outside of the dish. My wife came up with the garlic toast idea, which made the dish complete, IMHO. It was REALLY good and something I would have never have thought of.
