When I saw the recipe for Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits that c farmer posted I wanted to try them and decide to go with chicken 'n'biscuits.

Thanks for the recipe!

For the chicken part I started with this recipe...

but added some sriracha to give it a little heat and ended up adding in about 1/3 cup of chicken stock near the end to loosen it up a bit.

Best looking chicken n biscuits I think I have ever seen. That looks awesome.

Did the biscuits cook separately? If not, did they cook through or were they soggy / doughy?

Ron, that's frickin' yummy! It looks like what my grandmother used to make us (except there are herbs in the biscuits it appears). I need to try this recipe and/or get her's -- she's still around at 88.

Yeah I'd like to know if you baked the biscuits separately then drop them in the stew? Or did it dumpling style?

Perfect weeknight meal. Really nice, thanks for sharing the recipe too!
