Great buy on yard bird

Wife to store and they had the big bags of chicken quarters on sale for $2.99. Fired up the smoker and 2 1/2 hours later we have a tasty inexpensive meal. Chicken quarter, corn on the cob, cheese broccoli, macaroni & cheese, and corn bread. :clap2:

Hy-Vee has whole chickens on sale for $.49 a pound and split breasts for $.89 a pound.

I use the #7 BBQ Rub from Old Leggs Plantation. I use it on everything I smoke or grill. All my family and friends want this after they have tried it. I buy by the case because everyone wants some. :thumb:
