I fully load the Weber chimney with briquettes and light it as usual. But as soon as just a few briquettes catch at the bottom of the chimney (less than 10 perhaps) I dump that entire load on one side of the kettle, coals held back with 2 bricks. Ready to smoke in about 10 minutes when temps stabilize.
