Got a little video of everyone setting up and cooking for our judges that we did yesterday YouTube - 2011 West Slope BBQ Assn. Judge Certification
, here's a link to our article in the paper today http://cdapress.com/news/local_news/article_cf440d75-6cc4-5570-8d21-3415b2ab6e3f.html That's me in the pic, but I am not Chris. We had a great time certifying 30 new KCBS judges yesterday. Thanks to KCBS Master Judge Jim Monihan and every team in the West Slope BBQ Association that made this possible.

We dealt with some nasty weather, rain, wind, snow and even a little sunshine. Still better than dealing with the helicopter rides they parked us next to at the fair last year. Good times.

Fantastic! The West Slope gang means business! It will be fun to cook with all the dual trained CBJ's in the area- Jim Monihan is a great instructor and BBQ Mentor!

Now c'mon out to Cheney, Yakima or Stevensville MT and get PNWBA CBJ'd!

Looking forward to cooking on the other side of the "hump"! Let's BBQ!

Hey Brian, I know there is an event in Western Washington on April 30th, but we are doing our second annual one day event, the Rib King that day if you are not competing in the gig out there. It's a non sanctioned fun event, open to anyone, any grill...we had a great time last year.

This year we are doing three categories; ribs, steak and pork belly. Yeah bacon baby. I know it's a lot to travel for a little one day gig, but if you have nothing going on, why the heck not.

Sounds like fun! But I'm registered to Judge the Sky Valley BBQ Championship that weekend-gotta taste the stuff people been tweaking in the off season-get an idea what we're up against!

Keep an eye out for our friends with Stokin' N Smokin'. Larry and Pat. They are cooking in that event. They got 1st place ribs at the Skewered Apple last year. Have a good time out there, someday our team may make it out west for a comp or two.

Yep, that's Larry at the Grill, Dave Hart behind him in this one http://cid-5215efccb0189033.photos.live.com/self.aspx/PNWBA%20Yakima%202010/Yakima%20%5E5169%5E6.JPG

Here's Jeff Selle and his brother Bobby http://cid-5215efccb0189033.photos.live.com/self.aspx/PNWBA Yakima 2010/Yakima ^5281^6.JPG

Why Jeff had WATER in his hand I will never know, it's usually a Stella.

Here's Larry, Pat and George (the gambler) winning ribs. http://public.blu.livefilestore.com...o29qhmp2wlIiIftIA2idw/Yakima (446).JPG?psid=1
