Very glad to have found this forum. Been learning so much in a short time and I want to cook something whenever I have free time! So first and foremost, thank you BRETHREN.

Had a chance to cook some ribs today. Been reading a lot on 3-2-1, wrap, no wrap, etc. Decided to just keep it simple using salt & pepper for one rack, and and Big Ron's Hint of Houston Rub. Cooked at average 235 degrees for a ~6 hours on the WSM, foiled empty water pan. Pulled after passing bend and toothpick test.

Everything turned out pretty good to my inexperienced eyes and taste buds. One racked was a little more tender, and the other pulled off the bone a little too easy. But all-in-all I felt like I did a decent job.

What do you think

They look real good, nice pull back on the bone and nice smoke ring.
If they pulled off the bone too easily just adjust your cook time to be a bit less. Like maybe 1/2 hour or so.

Looks Pretty Darn Good to me ! And I like fall off the Bone ribs

Great looking ribs, nice job!!

They look good from where I'm sitting. The most important test is... were you and yours happy with them? If the answer is yes then SCORE!!!!!

I like the bend test for doneness. that said they look excellent, the comp guys are looking for mahogany but if you don't wrap the ribs turn out a bit darker.

That said a good pull back and nice even smoke ring make them look at least as good as they tasted.

Not good...you better let me take care of those ribs. We don't want anyone getting sick.

As many have said, looked like you cooked them right. A little darker than I prefer, but that is just preference. All that matters is how they taste!
