I agree that Shannon is a great guy, and worth a call. A couple years ago he let me hang out at his site for a few hours on Friday evening with him, Stel, and the gang, though they didn't have room for me to stay the whole time.

On another note, I grew up in Memphis and lived in St. Louis for 10 years, so I am familiar with both areas, but I moved to Nashville a couple years ago and will be competing here this year. It may not be the area you are interested in, but I am putting together a small team, and if you and your gang would like to hang out at our site for a competition, lemme know. Our first competition is going to be in Winchester, TN, which is the opposite direction from both MEM and STL, but you'd be welcome. Most of our comps this year will be in that direction, but I am planning on competing in a comp in Clarksville, TN if they have it this year and it fits our schedule, which is about four hours from both Memphis and STL. Lemme know if any of this sounds interesting to you.
