Sat night dinner with friends...pron

Beef ribs, tri-tip and my wife's chocolate ganache cake. Sorry, no money or plate shots. Had an aggressively hungry group! All on the UDS, at about 250. Ribs were done in 5 hours, the tri-tip in about an hour and a half

During dinner, it was a treat to see my buddy get up for a second helping, and to hear his wife say, "Honey, bring me another rib"...my wife gave me a look because I had that "I told you so" look on my face! :biggrin1:

That meat looks great but, I - WOULD - LIKE - A - PIECE - OF - CAKE - PLEASE!

That tri tip looks great!

I know the feeling. Had my new neighbor over for some bbq chicken, steak, baked beans, etc.. said it was the best chicken he'd had...told me the beans were better than his mama's..it does make you feel good, huh!

Keep em' comin. That cake looks super good.. Nice n warm with a scoop of vanilla!
