I decided to buy one of the Weston vacuum sealers. Like many of you, I try to buy in bulk and when things are on sale. I will be using it for large chunks of cheese, uncooked pork butts, steaks(porterhouse, rib eye and so forth), chuck roasts, hamburger patties, corn on the cob and other vegetables from my garden and, of course, meat that I have smoked but wish to freeze for a future meal. I am at a loss at to what size bags to buy and where to buy them. I would appreciate any advice you might have as to my bag confusion. Even if you use another brand of vacuum sealer, I imagine you are sealing the same types of things I mentioned so your thoughts would be valuable.
thanks, Jerry
