Harbor Freight propane torch $13.99 w/ coupon

I had one and it was cheaply made so I took it back and went to Home Depot and spent a bit more but the quality was much better. Didn't like the hose and the attachment from the hose to the tank and the torch. Can't be too careful when dealing with propane.

+1. While I've had a couple HF angle grinders last a long time, most tools I've bought there didn't last a week. In my circle we all refer to the place as "Harbor Junk!" I'm with you on having a quality tool when playing with fire.

I see a coupon there for $18. The OP mentioned $14. Was that a typo or is there a better coupon lurking somewhere?

Another good source for HF coupons is this thread: http://slickdeals.net/f/1276399-Harbor-Freight-Coupon-Thread but I could not find a coupon for $14 there either.

Here is an image of the one that was being sold on ebay, the a$$hat blocked out the coupon code. Does anyone have the coupon code??

How long does it take to light briquettes or lump with that torch?

And my neighbor, who is always doing projects like this, swears by these 2-

This guy is selling them with the push button ignition and for 16.50 shipped-

And while it is made in the USA, there is no stated warranty that I could find, so I don't know- I guess Ill just go with the cheap one an piss him off.

And it actually is the one from harbor freight with the coupon for 25$- you can tell by the picture- the item number is the same as the one on harbor freights website- 91037.

I ordered this bit it doesn't fit my #15 propane canister. Anyone know of an adapter or am I going to have to get a different tank?
