Bird brine-thaw question

We generally thaw about 3/4 of the way in the fridge and then thaw the last 1/4 in brine for 18-24 hours. Works well for us.

I'd guess that a fully frozen bird would take a minimum of 2 days in brine, but don't quote me on that. Never done it.
 
I had to half thaw a 12 pounder thursday into friday in my brine. in the brine about 18 hours and air dried for another 6 in the fridge. one of the best turkeys to date.
 
I've never done it straight from frozen, but have had some birds still partially frozen that I have brined. They came out just fine.
