Okay the weekend is all but over and no one is saying anything about this cookoff. Was there judgeing or was it only vending? If it was judged, who won?

David Congratulations on your win.

The judged comp results were:

GC - Twin Oak Smokin Crew, (are you glad they skipped Stillwater)
RGC was Pellet Envy, but Rod had a substitute team cook for him at the speedway, as he was in Shannon Il.

Congratulations again on your GC in Stillwater.

First of all, congrats on the win in Stillwater. Nicely done!

Here are the overall results from BBQ Shootout at Texas Motor Speedway. I would post category finishes too, but the wind was blowing so damn hard that our results blew away (no, I am not joking).

3. Cool Smoke
4. Checkered Pig
5. Lost Gonzo
6. Texas Rib Rangers

8. Smokin' Triggers (Jamie Geer and Big Mike cooking for Johnny)
9. Backstreet Blues
10. It Ain't Prime
11. Jack's Down Home BBQ

13. Texas Thunder

Category winners (can't recall all places)

Chris and Neil thanks for sharing the pics. Thats amazing what a weekend for you guys and congrats on the your finish. How did you guys get picked for this contest?

Neal that's awesome. Thanks for the pics and recap, and congratulations on a great finish! Very cool...

Great pics. Thanks! It looks llike Tuffy brought his old pit with him. His new one is Corvette yellow. Nice how they provided transportation to turn-ins. Can't say I've seen that before.
