Cook these spare ribs today on the UDS
I cooked these "low and slow" 250 degrees.
..and foiled them in apple juice.

Mann I was almost in tears- they came out farking nice!!

Sweet!

Great looking Spares! They look wonderful.
I haven't tried Spares yet... maybe next week as an experiment.
How long @250? How many hours before you foiled them?
250 seems a little hot to me but then again,
I'm stupid.

@250 it took about 4.5 hours. I put them in foil at the 3 hr mark.
this was the 3-2-1 method. After unfoiling I put them back on
for 20-30 minutes with a spitz of mopping sauce.

250 worked out fine for spare ribs on my UDS. I normally go around 225-230, but since these were marinated for 8 hours, I guess that allowed me to cook a little hotter. The most important part is to marinade!

Hope this helps.
