My wife made up some Coney sauce tonight.

Fried up my dog.

Hit it with mustard.

Then sauce, onion and cheese. My wife is a purist and scowled at my dog.

Sure was good.

Here's the Coney Sauce recipe that we use.

2 lbs Hamburger - 80/20
1 Cup Water[FONT=&quot]
1 medium onion, fine dice
1 - 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 - 6 oz can tomato paste
1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
1/2 T celery salt
1 T salt
1 T sugar
1 T chili powder
2 T Worcestershire Sauce

Brown the ground beef with the water and break it up into small pieces, then add everyone else in the pool. The longer you low simmer, the more the meat will break down. It should be rather think, but depending on how long you simmer it, you may need to add water from time to time so it's not too thick.
