Brought the two pork butts I Q'ed and pulled on Saturday in to work with me this morning. Gonna heat it all up and let the folks here at the office sample possibly the first really good pulled pork they've ever tasted later this morning! We'll see how it goes.

Good luck bro! Make sure you capture and post the appropriate porn now...

Dang it... forgot to bring my camera in! GRRRR!!! Oh well. Just got an email...

Oh my gosh!----This is the best I have ever had!! Thanks Jeff
Diane

Update... this lady asked me to do 3 slabs of BBs and two pork butts for her for Memorial Day weekend. All I have to do it cook it up and bring in in food saver bags. Easy enough.

Watch out Jeff you could be guilty of smuggling if it goes the way things sometimes do. You are offering a substance, that you don't have to sell, it will sell itself, to people who can easily be hooked. You may have to set up addiction hot lines as community service if it gets out of hand.

Did you tow the spicewine smoker to the office to show em what a good smoker lookes like as well.

Did you have to explain that the pink meat is normal? (forgot you are in the KC area, that should happen)

Has anyone asked you how you cooked it, then when you tell them, they look at you strangely wondering how you can take that long to cook meat.

Sorry, just started thinking of all the things that happen around here when I share some BBQ.

LOL Gary! No, the only questions have been "Is this your own recipe?", "How did you shred it like that?" and "Can you bring kosher meat next time?" I was expecting the third one but she's not an Orthodox Jew so she ate some of it also. I did tell her there's kosher salt in the rub though...

I think I might have a few more orders from all this, especially if I bring in some other stuff after letting them have withdrawals for 2-3 weeks!

That's just plain farkin mean, give a taste then hold out for two weeks!!
Kosher salt!! that just cracked me up....

I brought in brisket and pulled pork today to the office... along with some espresso bbq sauce. Lots of good comments... nothing left... People asking for more...

I told them the first one's free... and handed out cards. I'm hoping for some orders, too.

Curt, mine's all gone too. I'm gona hook 'em with some brisket in a few weeks and tell them I'm open for business! I liked Todd's idea!

Did we all get up and decide to bring BBQ to work today? I have been dishing out samples of chicken I beer butted yesterday. We are havign a mini pot-luck today, and the Chicken was my contribution. The samples are for people no involved in the pot luck.

I like the idea of making business cards and telling them next time will cost you. Mista in two attempts built up quite a customer base here. This is the 2nd time the office has had something I cooked with the knowledge I was bringing it here. They are still asking me to do another Brisket for them.

Just make sure the boss pays you cash if you get sucked in to cooking a work function...
Ask Meathead #1 about becoming a supplier to his former employer....

Thats the "You're a vendor now mod"

I brought in the leftover racks of ribs that got too overcooked. About five or six co-workers ate it up like it was the finest BBQ they ever tried. It actually bothered me a bit getting the compliments (which were not just being said to be kind) as I'll I could do was stare at the burnt backsides of the ribs... They could not understand why I thought they were not good.

A bunch of savages I tell ya !

Well even though you didn't patent it, Neil, you can rest assured that any and all of your Brothers here will be eternally grateful for your knowledge and ideas should any of us make money off our co-workers!

Neil, I used to just take in food and make sure others could smell it, but it was just for me!

Not really.. I've been taking in left overs for a while. it's a good way to experiment but not have to eat all of it myself, and I run out of freezer space now and then.
