Pork tenderloins with bacon weave, brussels sprouts, and baked beans.

It wasn't as hands on as my son's first cook last week (ribeyes) but it helped break her into the art of cooking over charcoal.

She made the weave and I wrapped it. She also chose the seasoning. In this instance I would have went with the Oak Ridge Secret Weapon on pork but I let her make the call. Honey rub it is. She watched the temps and told me when we were done.

It was very good. I'm proud of baby girl.

That’s great! My 8 year old daughter is always coming out while I grilling and asking if I’m burning the food because my wife has her convinced that bark=burnt.

Ahhh...22 years of marriage.

That is really, really awesome! She looks like she was on top of the world.

Great job, both of you!!
I was fortunate enough to have parents who enjoyed taking the time to teach me things. Your kids are going to remember these moments forever. Well done! :thumb:

Freaking awesome! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to mine getting that big when I can just sit back and watch :-D
