Hello to all,
I've been smoking for years, usually on homemade smokers, plywood construction,heat sources ranged from coffee cans with charcoal and wood to propane. The last one I made was cedar sided with gable shingled roof about six feet tall and two feet square, kinda looked like a tall doll house. neighbor asked what it was so I told him it was an outdoor urinal.
I broke down and bought a big green egg also. It definitely has it's place in smoking. I look forward to picking up some tips and maybe contributing some of my own, I don't do this for a living so I don't keep secrets. I f I can help I will.
