Frozen Ribs

DM's frozen butt thread got me thinking ... can you do this with ribs? How would this be done successfully?

Here's what I'm thinking of doing:

Phase 1: Cook ribs with the 3-2-1 method. Check the internal temperature when I go to wrap in foil. Complete cooking and eat.

Phase 2: Cook frozen ribs until the internal temperature reaches the same internal temp of Phase 1. Then, do the 2-1 portion of the 3-2-1 method.

Thoughts?

Never tried it with ribs. I have frozen a couple of cooked butts before. I did the butts the same way as those I served that day, except I did not pull them for pulled pork. I just froze them. When I was ready to use them I thawed in fridge, then slightly warmed them in oven, this made pulling them easier. When pulled, into the micro for heating, then served. You'd have never known they had been frozen.

Hey I am all for experimenting. I guess IF we fark up bbqing frozen slabs and the meat falls off the bone we could make rib salad right? That could be HUGE!
