JoeJo's BBQ. We were up front next to "Lottabull BBQ " The one with the multiple driver speaker system!!!!!! (it got loud)

It was only our 2nd time to compete and it was an eye opener! Since were were a hometime team we had about 125 people we had to feed on Friday night! Man did 1:00am come quick on Sat. morning.

We had a blast even if we did not do so good. (77 -overall,52 -chicken,73 -ribs,45 -pork, 95 brisket.)
There was a lot of competition there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great weather, good friends, plenty to eat, what more could you ask for!!!!!!!
 
I'm with the Hurricane Smokers. We didn't get to cook Mobile. I was standing in a wedding Friday night. But I will be in Hammond in a couple of weeks.

Thanks Merl. I had a blast cooking with Motley Q Crew. We all met at the USA smoke class which was held at the Klose factory back in 03. This is the first time we were able to get to cook together although we've been trying to schedule something for a few years now.

By the way, what was that rub that you sprinkled in my hand to taste?!!!!

We really enjoyed the company. Hope the music was not too loud. One of the team member's son slipped over to the system an put some kinda crap on there for a few minutes but I took care of that.

This was only our 2nd event so we are learning. We were a local team so we had to feel 100 people Friday night. I was worn out before we started cooking the competition food! We were only 77th. But we did get a 45th in pork. We really need to work on our brisket.

I will be talking to you. (trying to squeeze info out of the Masters!, Ha.)

We really enjoyed the company. Hope the music was not too loud. One of the team member's son slipped over to the system an put some kinda crap on there for a few minutes but I took care of that.

This was only our 2nd event so we are learning. We were a local team so we had to feel 100 people Friday night. I was worn out before we started cooking the competition food! We were only 77th. But we did get a 45th in pork. We really need to work on our brisket.

That was Robert that sprinkled the 'rub' in your hand. It was actually bloody Mary Mix LOL. Good stuff though. I think it's called Momma Nasty's he gave me some to take home I'll have to check it out.

I was the guy that spent a lot of time staring at our cookers. It was the first time I've cooked on a fatboy and we were cooking with bbq gurus which I've never used on my Backwooks before either.

How often do you guys cook in the Southern contest? (Al,MS,FL,TN)
