Because of the 25 year anniversary they had all the past champions return to compete against each other. I don't know what they cooked but I know it wasn't judged by the same judges all the regular comp.

Woot! I know a couple of those guys. Congrats to JD and Big Matt for the West Coast reppin' as well

With a 5th in ribs and 9th in pork, I was pretty shocked that JD didn't get a top 10 call!

All but one of the previous Grand Champions returned for the winners circle.
They cooked the 4 standard meats. It was my understanding from a winner circle judge all of the winner circle judges were CMBJ's.

I'm surprised the full results aren't posted on the KCBS website, as of th4e time of this posting. I'm interested to see how some of those outside the top 10 fared in the competition.

thats true, I was luck enough to get to judge the the winners circle and all judges were master judges.

Yep...evidence will be posted after thursday when I get back home in The Netherlands.
We placed 86 out of 160 teams including the 25 big boys from The Winner Circle.

I'll check my video to see if I got any shots of you guys.

It's http://www.jackdanielsbarbecuemedia.com and it only shows the top 10 overall. It's odd that KCBS hasn't posted the full results yet.

I'm hearing rumblings of scoring issues with the KCBS system that is delaying publication of full results. Anyone know about it?
