Obviously I love the food, but I think what makes me love BBQ the best is that OTHER people that I care about love the food.
TBH, I usually don't enjoy my own BBQ on the same day I cooked it as much as other people do. Maybe it is because I have been around smoke for so long that I cannot taste the food quite as well. Maybe it is because I am tired.
It is only the next day that I can generally appreciate that I did alright when I am eating leftovers.

Knows what a fatty is.
I love BBQ for the anticipation. I love getting up on a Saturday morning and firing up the smoker while doing final preparations on the meat. There's nothing better than relaxing in a folding chair, cup of coffee, easy listening and a good book while you wait patiently for your next creation.
