Congrats to all that are moving on to Chesapeake. My first DAL ever. Comment cards would of been nice. They weren't my best ribs and i thought they sucked, sucked as in not top 5. I cried a bit on the way home but was happy after i got a chocolate shake from Sonic. Man they make some good shakes.

It was a great competition. Congrats to all that got their name called. It was nice to be able to meet up with a bunch of brethren. Hopefully the judges in Chesapeake will be as nice as the ones on long island.
 
Congrats, wish I could have been there this weekend. Drove buy Friday night bringing my son home from Eagle camp. Couldn't convince him to let me stop by and say hello and good luck.

So good luck to the teams that will be moving on.

Thanks! Third at a SAMs event is quite good.

Your chicken didn't suck, almost 160. Brisket maybe needs work. Anything over 160 gets you in the game, at least in the northeast.
 
Great job ZBQ and everyone else who competed. I wish I was there to cook but life in Memphis is good. Hope to see you all soon!

Questions about SAMS comp -- How did the wing comp work at SAMS? Do you have to cook TYSON WINGS?? Do they give you the wings?

Was the competitor lot setup for camper access at the sites?

Any brand wings , you supply. Anything gos as far as cooking them. Smoked, grilled, fried
