Some Tailgate Action

First time taking the 5ver to a tailgate and using a generator. Got there Friday at 5PM and left Sunday at 10AM. I was HURTING by Sunday! Had a TON of FUN! Had some Brethren product out there. Some Simply Marvelous rub, some Plow Boys, and some Blues Hog! 4 butts in the UDS. People were looking at me like, "WTF is he doing cooking in a trash can?" Bacon Balls were a hit. My kids were BEAT. Their legs and bodies were sore from running so much. That what kids should be doing anyway. Got to set up the TV and watch the World Series..........freaking Cardinals! Rangers had their chance to win it. It was an awesome experience. Only a few people compared to Homecoming Week last Saturday. It was a great time with Family, Friends, Food, Fun, Smoke, and Beverages, etc!

Awesome looking time! Looks like everyone had fun.
Some of my best memories as a kid are from tailgating at Auburn with my family and going to the game with my dad.

UTEP! I didn't know good BBQ had made it that far West! I've never made it out to El Paso, I always seem to get stuck at Big Bend National Park or Guadalupe Peak.

Looks like a great time. Fantastic food. The two pics below caught my attention. Was that bread with the spread used in the sandwich? Is that just a mustard sauce on the sandwich or something different?

The first is my wife's spinach dip. Mostly sour cream, cream cheese, water chestnuts, spinach and some other stuff. Really good. The second is just pork with some chile con queso drizzled over it and a hot serrano from the garden. Dayuum I'm hungry!

Cool thing is, they have 24 hour security and the entire area is fenced off. SO the kids were able to run around and we didn't need to worry about cars driving around. There are two more home games, but we may not make it to another game till next season, at least with the trailer anyway. It was a FUN time!
