This is City Market BBQ. Best BBQ sauce I had in the Texas Hill Country.

This is Luling BBQ. Too bad it was closed on a Monday when I was there.
Hard to believe that a town with a population of what 2,000? can support two BBQ places less then 500 feet apart.

Luling doesn't support two places People from San Antonio, Austin, and all those little towns around Luling support those restaurants.

In Texas we'd (I used to live there) drive 70 miles, one way, for a cold beer! Driving that far for 'que was normal.

Heck, I had a 50 mile round-trip commute in San Antonio and never left the city limits! San Antonio to Luling was just a short drive.

I though everyone in TX makes there own Q. Isn't it a requirment for residency?
