Okay, it was simple fare, but very good. We had some boneless/skinless chix breasts that I wanted to cook before I went through what N8man did (thanks for the warning, Nate_.

Cooked up a BIG batch of fresh green beans and taters with bacon and Todd's Original Dirt (btw, my kids said they were the BEST they had ever had, thanks, Todd).

Brined the chicken for a while and then seasoned with Big Brother Smoke's chicken seasoning (thanks, Steph).

Fired up the Webber Kettle with Mesquite charcoal. Heated up some Fall Creek BBQ sauce and away we went.

Oh, most importantly (in my mind) is my son Andrew said he wanted to help do the BBQ sauced chix (his favorite) - so he did everything with those except the brining.

No pix of the plated food - smelled too good!!!

Love seeing the kids at the grills - he looks like a natural! Oh - and supper looks great.
 
That chicken's lookin good...Glad to see your' gettin' the youngsters styarted at an early age...Way to go!
 
I can smell it from here, that so cool he is helping with the grilling!
 
Thanks, guys - both kids are helping do a pork butt. My daughter was insistant that I let her clean out the firebox ashes...and help start the fire. Weird.
 
Love the grub and like the way you got the boy cooking. Family time is great..
