Well here we are on another Sunday in the beautiful NW. In honor of my Mom turning 77 yesterday I decided it seemed like a good day for a practice run @ Vegas in 5 weeks......OK, I may have selfish reasons behind it as well :roll: However, we are expecting 15-20 people so it should be a chance for some feedback.

Smokers been chugging away @ 225 and the brisket and shoulder are coming along nicely! :becky:

Time to start prepping ribs and chicken...... PrOn to follow soon.....

Congratulations on your mom's 77th. She obviously has a great son to look after her and as a bonus, one who Cooks!
 
Lookin' good neighbor! Happy Birthday to mom, for sure!

Will be out soon with some rib and tri-tip "practice" of our own.

So Mom's Birthday dinner was mostly a huge success..... You'll be seeing no pics of bite through chicken skin tonight :oops: Everyone loved the taste but I definitely need more practice :roll: Sounds like a reason to cook!

I still have 4 weeks of practice until my first comp of the year with a very open mind and hope to learn ALOT more from the best...:thumb:

Great Sunday and Mom enjoyed her meal, her family, and of course..... her cake! :clap2:

I love the spice rack too... I've got spices scattered all thru our pantry.
(We need to organize and clean ours out.)
Looks like you put on a good feed for the family.
That's the way we like to celebrate Birthdays around her...
