Doing a 8 1/2 lb Butt on the Akorn. Rubbed with Oakridge BBQ-Secret Weapon and a dusting of Montreal Steak. Cherry chunks added to the Frontier Lump.

Nice. Mine just went on 1 hour ago, bad Byron's butt rub, regular kingsford topped with oak/hickory.

The rain is coming... Debating on whether to put ribs on now rather than later

Will open for the first time at the 5 hr mark,and put a probe in. Think I am going nekkid for the entire cook. Have always wrapped at stall,before.

It's raining here,now,but luckily part of my deck is covered.....so staying dry. My temps did drop off when it started raining so had to make a minor adjustment to top vent. Right back to 255-260. :thumb:
