Do you nave to be a Member of KCBS to cook a contest?

No you do not have to be a member.If you had wanted in the Sams series you did but regular contest no.

Most contests don't require it, but a few seem to be asking for your KCBS number on the application - not sure if these require it or not to enter though since it's not an issue for me - I just jot my number down, empty the bank account, and send in the app.

Should you, if you plan to be taking advantage of a structure set up by an organization and benefiting therefrom? Absolutely yes.

I'm totally with Divaherself's reply. It costs very little to join. The benefits are many.
