the recipe for pizza dough is pretty standard and basic. what is important is dough management. how it is kneaded, how it is formed into balls, letting it rise, punching it down, allowing it enough time to develope some flavor.

This is as simple as it gets

Pizza Dough

2 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup warm water
1 teaspoon yeast
1 teaspoon salt

Disolve the yeast in the water
Add 2 cup of the flour mix until it just comes together, cover the bowl with a towel let stand 20 min.
Uncover and add the salt knead in enough of the remaining flour to form a smooth soft dough
Place dough into a greased bowl cover with a damp towel and let rise until doubled
Punch dawn turn out on a floured counter work into a ball cover with the bowl and allow to rest for 15 min before forming pizza.

Take some warm water (around 105 degrees) and throw it in a bowl, toss in about a teaspoon of dry yeast, along with a 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. Wait 10 minutes for it to froth. Once it has frothed, throw in a little salt and mix that in. Add in enough all purpose flour to wear you can knead it in the bowl for a few minutes--keep it fairly wet, just enough to handle it. Wait an hour until it doubles. Stretch and fold it a couple times and shape into a ball. Cover with lots of flour then cover with a cotton towel. After about 30 minutes start pulling on the ball and flattening it into a small thick disk. Wait another 5 to 10 minutes and stretch further into a thinner disk. Rest again for a short period (like 5 minutes). Eventually it'll be soft enough to stretch thin. Keep dusting with flour each time and covering with cloth. Before putting on peel give it a light dust over with flour in addition to sprinkling the peel with semolina or corn meal.

Super easy?? Go to the local pizza joint and buy one....I do it all the time. They charge $1 or $2 max....
