[The Smokin Texan]

I found this site while looking up info on building a UDS. This is absolutely a great site and beats Facebook by a mile. I grew up in Texas my whole life and have only crossed the state border 4 times. My favorite way of cooking is using a horizontal drum type pit with a wood smoker. My favorite meet to cook is a long slow smoked Brisket with a beer and cigar. My favorite cooking event is a little known event of dedicated cookers that meet at Lake Travis twice a year for a weekend long non stop outdoor cook. "Ungawa". I look forward to sharing and receiving information via this site. I am also going to get the other Ungawa attendees involved.
