Picked up my GOSM - Deluxe on Monday. Seasoned it Monday night and took her for a test drive yesterday. Smoked up my first Turkey and threw on some Tur-oink balls and some Spicy Almonds during the smoking. Learned a bunch for the next bird.

Looks awesome!
The GOSM is assuredly a great cooker! The food looks wonderful, and I like the look of those hot pepper seeds in the turkey rub.
Great photos, too...

Congrats on the smoker! Pron look good!

Congrats and a nice looking spread for the maiden run as well.

Nice looking food! I have the gas GOSM. I made a charcoal basket for it and put some side vents in and now run it off charcoal more often than gas.

No pics of your weapon? Must be cooking in an oven.

When I don't have time to tend the fire my GOSM does a great job for me.

Thanks for the PICs

Ditto that, I've had my GOSM for about five or six years, it was my first smoker. Now I have two drums and a Lang 60 deluxe, but still use the old gasser regularly. Especially for things like fatties or armadillo eggs when that is all I'm cooking. I really like it for turkey because it is a "no doubt about it, hold the right temp" cooker.

Congrats on the new cooker!
