First thing I thought was to use Slim Jims or similar beef sticks as the bones. They'd be more like real rib bones.

If you got large pepperoni sticks and cut them into a rectangular cross section...allowing for the shrinkage of pepperoni...hmmm
 
I could totally see an Italian "Rib" sandwich, with pepperoni sticks, Italian sausage, marinara, provolone...

I can't get this stuff outta my head!:shock:

Looks great.....perhaps if you had used a "Foil Hat" on them while
they rested; they might have pulled clean from the bone.:boxing:

They look really good that way, but if I could have it my way, I'd have them fuzzy! :becky:
