I am a certified table captain, I don't really mind doing it. It is difficult if you do double duty, judging AND captaining tho. And if you have a good crew of volunteers working the leftover table dividing up what's left in the box you still get quite a bit of goodies. Just not much chicken or ribs
. I am hoping that by being a certified table captain it may give me a little leverage to get invites to contests that are always difficult to get a judge invite, I will see this summer if it helps.
