Needing advice on purchasing a moderate to large size charcoal grill free standing or built-in . I have a number of smokers and a 22' weber kettle but I think I would like a larger grill. Don't want a Rancher. Thanks.

Have you considered making yourself a fire pit and using expanded metal cut to size for the grate?

As for the recommendation on the Chargriller, I can say that I have a chargriller gasser and I'm very happy with the quality and price I paid for it...
I do like the Chargriller with it's cast iron grates

Do what I did and just buy multiple Weber OTS. I got 2 for $6o on Craigslist. Now I have 3 Weber OTS and will build a rack with wheels to hold em all. I almost got a Chargrill Outlaw myself but Im hearing the metal doesnt last very well and ends up rusting. Im a weber fan and love the way the kettles cook. Not to mention the plant isnt too far from house!
