Brethren, I am coming to Galveston on April 26-27 for the 3rd Annual St. Augustine Church BBQ fundraiser and I am inviting you to participate! We had a ball last year and we want to make this year even better. If you would like to come help cook, serve or just show off your bbq pit or trailer, you are welcome. If you can't make it to help please, bring your family and friends for a meal prepared by some of the best bbq cooks in Texas!

Count me in Neal. It just so happens that I will be in Texas at that time and will make a point to come down from Austin and help cook.

Awesome! Can you send your full name, team or business name and a tagline or award you've won recently? We are going to work on getting everyone into the promotional materials for print, internet and possibly radio and TV.
 
I lived in Galveston when in was younger and always had a blast there! I'm in Virginia now so I won't be able to make it but I hope everyone has a good time!

Call your friends that still live there and tell them to come out for some world class BBQ!
 
Thats my son's birthday but he might be interested in helping out. He still remembers the second cook off we ever did. It was next to you guys in Hesperia, Ca. where it was about 20 degrees with 40mph winds.
 
I remember that! We had to wait for the winds to die down before we could even set up the tents!
 
I'm seeing a coastal run is in my future . . .

Plus, i've gotta book i need signed.

Neil, if we got enough Texas folks (OK/LA people too if they wanna come), could we pass it off as The Texas Bash?
 
Still working on my work schedule but things are looking pretty good that i'll be heading down I-45 in April to hang with ya!
 
Just submitted my vacation request so waiting for supervisor approval.
 
He shots but doesn't score. Hopefully next year i'm off that weekend (gotta work every other weekend).
 
Ditto Jim. Unfortunately, a co-worker is in a wedding that weekend & had already asked off.
