New KCBS contest in Franklin, NC

I just got a packet from the 1st Annual Mountain High BBQ & Music Festival in Franklin, NC.

It's KCBS sanctioned. NC State Championship.

August 7-8, 2009.

This is the weekend after Dillard.

Brethren in the area should check this one out.

Tarheel Smokers will be there. This group has been working on this event for a year now getting it ready. Very nice people and eager to do it right.
