I was able to find a slag hammer for ~$5 that i cut the handle off to make mine.

The folks at KCK are outstanding. I ordered the wrong handles and they absolutely bent over backwards to help me out. They didn't bother to charge me shipping for sending out the correct replacements, which I promptly received.

I didn't notice that the spiral handles come in both spring steel and stainless.
