Evening Brethren!

I was wondering if anyone else has seen, owned, used, or otherwise remember these old bullets. I think Coleman started making these in '74 but I might be wrong. Found on CL for a steep $15 about a year ago. Cooks like a dream and holds temp really well with very little babysitting. If an ECB and a WSM got together and had a kid, I think this is what it would look like! Check it out!

I haven't actually taken a tape measure to it, but if I had to guess its about 15 inches. It stands about waist level to me and I'm 5'6". I think if someone stole this or I lost it for whatever lawless reason I would probably cry. Simply because I've never seen another one like it and I've spent hours searching through every BBQ and grilling forum Google could come up with. And for $15, I love it to proverbial pieces!!

That's pretty interesting. Supposed to be gas assist to light, or was that supposed to be filled with lava rock?

Yeah that is the only other model I've seen. I have never seen anyone else with the Charcoal only model but like you found on ebay, I have come across a few of the gas versions.

Maybe they just weren't that popular back then with trying to compete with Webers and the few that did get purchased just haven't survived and ended up in landfills. Just a hunch...
