Found a good deal on Craigslist. Are these worth a damn compared to an egg. I already have a large egg but am looking to expand. Thanks in advance

I have a Grill Dome. Years back they had some paint issues with certain colors. They fixed that issue. The way they machine the base and the lid they don't have any gasket issues. At least I haven't had an issue with mine. I also like the stainless steel and the hinge system a bit better. If the price is right I wouldn't pass.

There is a video on youtube where they compare the grill dome and the BGE in a side by side comparison. You may to check it out. I wont say which one won.

They are twice as thick as an egg / stainless hardware & also have a very nice lid assist
