We stopped by the comp this morning. Philly Blind and Zombie Pig guys spent quite a while talking to my wife and I. Congrats to them. I also have to give thanks to 5-0 BBQ for taking the time to talk to us. Hopefully we will compete against them soon.
 
I want to send out a thank you to Jacklyn and the staff at Great Country Farms. This is the second year for this event and they continue to improve the event every year (the water truck was a nice touch). Not only do they improve the quality of the event they're genuinely happy to see us every year.

Thank you everyone for the kind words, really appreciate it. To say it was a surprise is an understatement. I know that sound cliche, but as Dan and I were rolling the number thru our heads, neither of us could see us pulling it out.

Eric is the man, not only was he on spot all day, he also won the waiters race after all the turn-ins! I wish I had a portion of his energy, but I think he's gonna need it, the baby is due anytime!!! He staying home for the next couple of weeks, so I want to wish him and the wife the best as they bring their new daughter into this world. We are gonna miss him!!

Congrats to everyone who heard their names, to Tuffy for the RGC, and to our great sponsor, Steve Rogers (The BBQ Equipment Store) of 5-0 BBQ on his best finish yet!!

On to Maine, never been up there, looking forward to it!!
 
Congratulations to all who walked; we were honored to compete with so many familiar teams and famous faces.

If anyone did an interview with my friend Bart Johnson (baseball cap, white t-shirt, professional video camera), he would like to offer a sincere thank you for taking the time to talk to him, especially during a busy contest. He was filming our team (Fat Baby BBQ) for a promotional video and is planning to contact Great Country Farms to use the rest of the footage as promotion for next year's contest.
