Anyone ever cook burgers on FEC-100?

Any of my fellow FEC-100 users ever try cooking burgers on the bottom shelf at say around *326 or so?

If so, how did they turn out or not turn out?
 
I did.
"Smoked Burgers" were not a hit.
And that is an understatement :oops:

You probably need FrogMats or expanded metal or something to keep them from falling through the grates.

Dat's what I figured. Thanks for verifying! Looks like I will be firing up the PG500 after all!
