Got a Kamado,

I bought another Imperial Kamado a few weeks back. I had a larger on last year, but resold it. Really regreted that after learning more about them thanks to some stories that I read in this forum. So I found another, its a #4 that needed a little repair, and a new heat gasket.I followed up on the Humpty Dumpty story on here and am now finished! The old school craftsmanship behind the way these smokers were made is awesome. I am so glad I found this site, and learned from it. Here are some pics, I hope you all like!

NICE!!! I Almost bought one yrs ago but it was when they started having quality issues so I didn't want to take the chance

Nice restoration job! Did you have to do any work on the firebox or fire ring?

Great job on bringing it back to excellent condition.:thumb::thumb:

Awesome job. Here's my before and after pics of my Imperial Kamado #5 purchased in the early 90s and given to me by my grandpa a couple of weeks ago.

I don't have the top slider (rain cap only)... Does anyone know if the BGE Daisy Wheel will fit an IK?
